They sit on the floor with dogs to keep them calm and comfortable, making sure they feel safe during visits. Everything is explained clearly so clients understand what will be done to their pets. Follow-up calls are made after procedures, and staff always take time to answer questions. Costs are fair, and they do their best to help lower expenses when possible. I found Thickson Animal Hospital while searching online through local veterinary reviews, and I am incredibly grateful that I did. We recently brought home two new kittens and have had some very stressful health concerns arise, and the care we received from both Dr. Sherry and Dr. Friendship has been exceptional.
They have both been extremely upfront, direct, compassionate, and supportive throughout the entire process. I especially appreciated their honesty and willingness to clearly explain what was happening medically, while still being kind and empathetic during a very emotional situation.

We have gone to Thickson Rd for years with multiple family dogs, but this months experience is why I felt the need to leave a review. Our 12 year old dog had gotten sick over a weekend and we had an awful experience at another vet, it felt like all they had wanted was money. Something told me to wait and send everything over to Thickson Rd who we trusted to go over on the Monday. On Monday Dr. Friendship called me and went over everything she could see from the scans, the verdict was the same but its how she went about it.
