I have been a client for many years now, Gina taught me all i know about henna and my hair grew stronger and thicker thanks of her. Recently i made the mistake to try chemical process again and boy did i regret it. A hairdresser bleached my hair without telling me, well I ended up with dry and brittle hair. But thanks god Gina is always there for you if you need help. I treated my hair several times with henna and fixed the color with indigo+cassia+ amla + aloe for dryness. I have naturally dirty blonde hair and had been wanting to go copper for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger. I chose henna because it’s natural and has sooo many benefits for the hair and scalp plus I wanted a natural look to trick people into thinking it’s my natural colour. Im so glad I went to Gina instead of trying to do it myself. (I came from Hamilton and it was 100% worth the drive). She’s knowledgeable and truly a specialist at her craft. She saved me the uncertainty of figuring out what ratios of henna, cassia, indigo to mix to achieve my desired look. I was happy to meet Gina and have my henna done at her Salon. ? She has her own method putting on some oil before applying the henna and she did it so quickly, amazing! It feels stronger and is finally one colour as I had been doing it for years myself resulting in a multi-coloured look. She is very knowledgeable, personable and she has a very calm demeanor in spite of it being a busy day there! She sells some healthy, organic products as well. There were also some very engaging conversation between us and other clients. All in all an enjoyable time. I highly recommend getting your henna done at Gina’s.
