I brought my 11-year-old daughter in to have part of her nail removed. She was a little nervous at first but the doctor and the staff made her feel very comfortable. They were very informative and knowledgeable and they walked her through step-by-step of what was going to happen before it happened. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend this place!

RUN!!! I’ve seen podiatrist at the office and I should have run after first visit. Very friendly don’t take me wrong but I guess something’s got to give. Should have known after first visit but got sucked into orthotics and paid $700. It took them “ONLY” 2 months to produce a pair for me. The measurements were done with plaster of paris instead of laser like other places. Visual diagnosis vs. X-ray and ultrasound or other medical equipment. Consecutive follow up visits have not done much over the course of 6 months. Just waste of my time and money! My foot still hurts. It’s September 2022, it all begun in February 2022. Each visit was rescheduled or they had me waiting for hours in a waiting lounge with music on a speaker and tv blasting at a same time. And since I am not a paying patient and follow up visits are free I was just left to my devices. At my fourth visit my orthotics were adjusted AGAIN by injecting some moulding material… they had collapsed within few weeks. I have given few weeks for adjustment but it’s actually feels the same as at the time I started, back to square one! They wanted me to come back again but I’m DONE! I am searching all over to find someone that is actually up to date in the area of their expertise. Please do yourself a favour and do some your research and see someone else! Don’t waste your time and money!

My first time I came here for pain in my left big toe, got tape to support it, did ultrasounds for a few weeks and was stronger. 3 months later I came back for pain in my right foot which I learned was a dislocated cuboid. Never knew some running and daily training with an active dog would lead to this. I’m confident in Okasana and the team’s support! After taping for support, I said “my feet feel at home” and here I am on the road to recovery! Highly recommend!!

Useless. If you have a common foot problem I'm sure you're in good hands. If something uncommon, the doctor, nurse, receptionist and even janitor come in to the room to weigh in. They take x-rays, make promises, hit you with a 180 dollar bill and never hear from them again.

I have a bone spur/ planter fasciitis and went here, closer to my home.Every visit, my orthotics was removed, shaved or adjusted back into my shoes. He checked my walk to see if I felt better in the shoes. That was for 5/6 months of going there. No recommendations for anything else. It’s been 1 year since I have the pain and I have stopped my visits.

Dr Chelin is excellent! I sure wish that these services were just covered by OHIP, but you will have to check your insurance plan to see. Most insurance plans cover for podiatry, and this is the best. Dr. Chelin understands that foot mobility (which strangely does not fall under the OHIP umbrella) and hip mobility (and yes, you can have your hip replaced at no cost) are both equally important to mobility. I am tired of having really achy feet, and Dr. Chilin and his team have proposed several solutions, which I am investigating. The lack of OHIP is a problem; once I've verified that the insurance will cover the surgery that would help, then I can proceed. Dr. Chelin and the clinic understand this dilemma, and are patient with it, as you investigate whether your treatment will be an economically viable option
