An excellent and quick service in Vanier for centretown Ottawa. A quick and speedy response to my needs. I had lost my key and needed to re-key the front door lock as we live in a high risk area. Fortunately, I found my original key in my shirt before the keysmith started his work. He said "I am happy for you!" I asked if I could pay him for his time and he said no need. He was just happy for me!
Highly recommend. I had a difficult lock to service and had trouble finding a good locksmith. Many didn't call back, and some said the lock needed to be drilled and destroyed. Girard's was super responsive and sent someone who could solve my problem without destroying my lock. Best in town.
The best place for lock repair and key making. They make a copy of the keys in less than 1 minute and fixed the lock in 2 minutes. And they charged only $4 for one copy!!! Perfect!!!!
