I have brought several items here to be repaired, and it has always been done quickly, skillfully, and at a fair price.
Recently, they saved from a wardrobe catastrophe when part of my work uniform decided to rip. I am thankful for these people.
The ladies who run this place, aside from being really friendly and willing to tell you pragmatically when something just isn't worth saving? Are excellent at repairs. They managed to completely rehabilitate my favourite bag (one-of-a-kind, craft-show, multi-fabric situation) top to bottom: new lining, better zipper, handmade strap, patches on the worn bits. Just really nice people doing wonderful work.
!!! Only shop in TO that fixed my zipper + ASAP n free! ($20value. I tried 5 places incl. Stitch It)
Also advised on washing the garment + chalk lubed it all for me ???.
