My boyfriend has curly hair, so I found Urban Philosophy while searching for salons with stylists who really understand how to cut curls. I am so glad I did, because this place is truly amazing. My boyfriend became a regular, and we happily go out of our way to come downtown for his appointments. Sandra and Elena in particular always do an incredible job on his hair and he gets compliments all the time. They consistently exceed our expectations, and he always leaves the salon feeling pampered and relaxed.
If you have not tried this place yet, please do! I want them to be busy (just not so busy that we can’t book an appointment🤫).

I’ve been coming here for a while now. My barber, Lauren, has got an eye for detail, listens to what I want, and always delivers a clean, sharp cut that suits my style. I never feel rushed. Whether it’s a clean up or a full refresh, I walk out feeling great every time. I would highly recommend.
