Vibes were high. Music was very bop-able. Staff was incredibly kind. Time management wasn't my favorite, but I later learned the artist I got is a "junior" so it's excusable. I got a flash tattoo with my own little spin; it came out better than I hoped.
Great shop! Open, bright, clean friendly and talented artists, 100% LGBTQ+ welcome. We had custom designs drawn by Barb ahead of our visit to Toronto (Canadian Maple Leaf with Imagine Dragon Loom design) for an Imagine Dragons concert.
It was a great experience all around. Hygiene practices were impeccable. There are several artists there who are all very talented.
Scheduling, communication and payment from another country (we’re in the US) was easy.
We’ll definitely be back!
I've been to Storm Horse many times and have been tattooed by Jacqueline, Stephanie and Barb. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. This is such a safe space, and everyone wants you to feel incredibly comfortable and they do not make you feel bad for asking to try multiple stencil placements. They are also really collaborative and will help give input when you're debating stencil placement with yourself and your artist. 10/10, LGBTQIA+ friendly, highly recommended.
