Nice store, some great finds. Had a nice conversation with the guy working cash. It took me into overtime on the parking meter. 2 minutes late $50 lol

I'm not in the city often and purchased a record as a gift. When playing we noticed a defect, a bump/bubble, that would cause the record to skip. Called the shop to ask about returning or exchanging, they told me to come in when the owner is around. Turns out he's only there 3 days during the week and as I don't live in the city, I tried to return it next time I was in again which happened to be a weekend. Well I guess the owner never bothered teaching his employees how to do a return/exchange because they refused. Also I guess he doesn't bother leaving any method for them to reach him because I suggested calling the owner or the other employee that was coming in later, she either couldn't because she doesn't have contact or she simply refused. How can you run a business without telling your employees how to do a return/exchange. Either everyone should know or he should be available to handle these things. Charging back the credit card was the only option as I'm not coming into the city at 5pm during the week just to return this before his store closes at 7, I'm not even sure I'd make it in time. Even left our number to contact us and he never reached out

I usually don’t write reviews but a recent incident really ticked me off.
I believe the owner of the shop (who others have referred to as dad owner) is amazing! Had some really great conversations and on week days when he is there, I have had the chance to also see how he talks to other customers. Very nice and warm person.
But there is this other employee who multiple times made me feel like I am being a burden coming to the store at Roncesvalles. The weird part is, I didn’t even do anything lol. It just felt like coming to the store pissed that person off.
