All my life, I never knew I had curly hair. I’ve been to so many hairdressers, including in my home country, Singapore, and I was always told to straighten it, do keratin treatments, or somehow “manage” it. Eventually, I gave up and accepted that my hair was simply destined to be… lacklustre.
Then I walked into this salon.
Carol and Angie took one look at me and said, “You have curly hair.” To my absolute shock, they were right!
They taught me how to look after it properly, and I have to say, they have turned me into a hair goddess. I now walk around with curls I didn’t even know were possible. Occasionally, strangers ask me for hair tips, as if I’ve been appointed to the Glorious Hair Council. I accept this responsibility with great humility.
On top of being incredibly talented, Carol and Angie are wonderful, funny, kind, and welcoming. I’m quite shy, but in this salon I feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely beautiful.
I’m so grateful I found them. Highly recommend!

I was polite on the phone and asked if there were any slots for a haircut on the same day. Worth a try but I would have been happy to come back another day. The man who answered abruptly cut me off and said, “nope” twice and didn’t offer any alternative booking slots. It was just silence as if I was taking up time. I called because of the great reviews. Whoever answered really needs to work on their phone etiquette lol. What a joke.
