I had purchased a beautiful designer satin gown online for an important family wedding in the UK, but when it arrived just a week before I was due to leave, it was almost two sizes too large. I immediately called my usual alterations shop, but they were fully booked and couldn't fit me in.

I had a designer satin gown that arrived almost two sizes too large just one week before I was leaving for a wedding in the UK. Pearl Alterations came to the rescue! The owner was warm, welcoming and incredibly skilled. Within minutes, he pinned the dress to fit perfectly, and the finished alterations were flawless. Satin is notoriously difficult to work with, but the dress now looks as though it was custom made for me. The work was completed ahead of schedule, the pricing was very fair
Highly recommend! The owner, Noor, took a lot of care and attention to tailoring my clothes. He’s also very nice and friendly, which I appreciate. I prefer his business over the shop on Yorkville Ave, where I found that the owner was not very friendly.
