Owned by the most hardworking and dedicated woman. I always come here because I know the work gets done properly, Maria is friendly, and the price is fair!
I tailored, patched up and fixed lots of clothes here over the last 4 or so years. Every so often I also come for dry cleaning.
I would just note that if you NEED to get something done by a certain date make absolutely sure you let them know and be clear. Ask if it’s even possible. Otherwise, they can be a bit flex with their time sometimes. I personally don’t care if it takes a little longer if i’m certain the job is well done.
Maria is an incredible seamstress that I’ve been fortunate to have found many years ago. My husband and I have gone to Maria for simple and complex alterations - we have never been disappointed.
We’ve been going to Kingtown Dry Cleaners for YEARS, and Maria, the owner, is truly exceptional. We gladly drive across the city just to see her. Her tailoring is the best we’ve ever experienced, and she is easily one of the hardest-working people you’ll meet. Absolutely five stars!
