Before you read any further: NONE OF WHAT I SAY HERE IS JOHN'S FAULT. We had an electrical "emergency" and googled Electrical Emergency in Oakville. A company called Best Electrical was near the top of the list. We called and were quoted $60 for the call plus labour. Sounded reasonable. They sent John to deal with it. He was extremely professional and courteous. Then when I called Best Electrical to "close" the order I was told it would be $630 plus tax! At this point John had been here for approximately 10 minutes! Last week, a tree fell and burned my meter base, causing a power outage. Despite calling 20 technicians, none could come promptly or handle the job. Luckily, John came to the rescue, displaying professionalism and offering the best price. I'm extremely pleased with his work and will definitely rely on him in the future.
I hired an eletrical company called "Best Electrician Etobicoke" who sent John as a subcontractor for my service call. THAT company specifically is a giant waste and seemingly scamming people for money. But John is not a part of that process and does not charge people what other reviews claim. Those reviews are right, but its the OTHER company that sends John that is gouging and scamming people.I hired John directly and personally and his rates are much more modest and reasonable.
