She was fast with the cut and overall appointment, but still took the time to talk to me about my current routine and gave me helpful advice on caring for my hair without trying to upsell me any products. She was also super gentle during the wash and shampoo, and overall just a joy to have working on my hair. I felt like I was in good hands and would definitely recommend her services.

Type 4 hair ladies, you're in safe hands with Jamila. I emphasize safe because sometimes heat styling can feel risky for those of us who regularly wear our curls, especially if you've had damaging experiences in the past.
She takes the time to properly prep your hair for each step with top notch products. The blow out alone was incredibly flowy and straight, and the press was the silkiest my hair has ever been. Given how straight she got my hair, I was mentally prepared for serious heat damage like I've experienced previously from another stylist. But thankfully, my hair reverted back beautifully! I am so happy with my hair by Jhade. My hair was terribly neglected after my old stylist moved away. I made my first appointment with Jhade and showed her a picture of what I wanted. She deftly went ahead and made it happen. Couldn't ask for a better salon experience. The salon itself is relaxed and non-intimidating. And Jhade is a gem!
