I come from out of province to receive care from Dr. Grushka and I will tell you that all the time and money is well spent. She is an expert in both TMD and Burning Mouth Syndrome and unfortunately I have been blessed with both. The BMS journey is a long and difficult one and I feel so grateful to be under her care along the way. She works with my family doctor to ensure necessary testing and treatment required for my comfort and healing. To be honest I enjoy my appointments and look forward to seeing her. I think when you have oral pain, it will always be a life long issue. However, the expertise by Dr. Grushka and her team has given me so much more relief. I was referred to Dr. Miriam Grushka following a series of other dentist visits (one of which led me to see an oral surgeon in Guelph who dismissed my pain and told me I needed a good cleaning - $100 for 10 mins of that wonderful advice led me to crying in my car and feeling so lost).
My hometown dentist referred me to Dr. Gruska, and although I am still working through the gum pain, jaw clenching and the world of mouth guards, I am so grateful to not have to constantly be thinking about my mouth. Thank you,...read full review
Basically needed a MRI of my jaw for years no one would take me seriously and would only give me CTs which showed nothing. Dr. Grushka finally took my problem seriously and ordered an MRI the MRI showed my jaw to be severely messed up and now I’m finally working towards surgery and actually getting it fixed.
