Great staff, both techs and vets. Jake was well taken care of by Dr. Morel on our recent visit. The doctor was very caring and informative. Thanks F.S.A.H.

Firstly, we did a dental with them and it wasn’t until after the $3000+ procedure that I learned they only pulled my dog’s teeth, they did NOT clean them! I have had dogs for years and never experienced a dental where they didn’t clean them.
And secondly, I’ve finally decided to move vets after our last visit. We waited for over an hour for our appointment. When we were finally called in, the vet (I can name names if needed) was in a potentially clinically manic state. She was EXTREMELY convoluted in explaining things, she kept using completely unrelated and confusing metaphors to explain things that were actually simple to understand in their original form. She kept changing subjects and not answering my questions clearly, and could not stay on task at all. We were there to assess a lump and when I wrenched her back on task over and over, she said she’d send me a quote afterwards for different treatment approaches. When I went to get my jacket, it had fallen from the chair to the ground into some urine… they didn’t clean the room since the visit before us. Finally, it took 4 follow up emails from me over a few weeks to finally get the quote.
This led to me realizing I cannot trust this practice. I will never come back here and I would warn others against it.
I miss the original vet, he was lovely. Since it was sold to a holding company, it’s a disaster.

I paid $450 for my dog’s vaccines, but they missed one. When I returned, they ended up giving him a vaccine he didn’t even need.

I am sharing this review so other pet owners understand my experience before scheduling surgery at this clinic.
My dog was booked for a dental procedure after it was recommended by the veterinarian. My husband and I arranged our schedules carefully. I worked from home and my husband cancelled work travel to be present because any surgery involving a pet is stressful.
Unfortunately, communication from the clinic was inconsistent from the start. When I initially called with questions, staff were unable to provide answers and promised a follow up that never happened. After several attempts to reach the clinic, we received only an automated preparation email two days before surgery.
At 5:45 PM the evening before surgery, I was contacted and asked to consider rescheduling due to an emergency case. While emergencies are understandable, this request came after significant planning on our end. During that same call, I was asked to immediately pick up a sedative medication even though the clinic was closing in 15 minutes and I was working outside Toronto, making it impossible to comply.
On the morning of surgery, I learned no pre operative bloodwork had been completed and that a different veterinarian would be handling the procedure without prior notice. We left our 4 kg dog at the clinic at 9 AM expecting clear communication throughout the day.
After receiving no updates, I called at approximately 2:30 PM and was told the surgery could not proceed because my dog was “not responding to local anesthesia.” Only after I explained that rescheduling would be extremely difficult did the doctor indicate the procedure could proceed after all. This reactive communication and lack of transparency was deeply concerning.
Despite these issues, I made the decision to reschedule, hoping for a smoother experience. Unfortunately, the situation worsened. After following their instructions and administering anti anxiety medication to prepare my dog for surgery, I was informed the night before the rescheduled procedure that the clinic needed to cancel again, stating they did not have appropriate staff available to administer anesthesia.
This sequence of events reflects serious concerns with scheduling coordination, communication, and procedural readiness. Pet owners place enormous trust in veterinary clinics, and clear, proactive communication should be the minimum standard.
Given the seriousness of this experience, I am also filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau so this matter is properly reviewed.
I hope clinic leadership takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to prevent similar situations for other clients.

I accepted the nurse to take my dog to a different room for vaccination however I think it would have been better if vaccines are applied where I can be with my dog
