Honestly my favorite place to disappear into for a couple of hours when the city gets a bit too loud. It’s an incredibly grounded, unpretentious spot that just lets you look through the shelves at your own pace without any high-pressure sales pitches or corporate stiffness. The atmosphere feels very authentic and calm, full of hidden gems if you're willing to just slow down and browse.

Try to visit this store for graphic novels or omnibus whenever we are in the area. There selection is hit or miss but there is usually something every time we come down here. With 4 floors overall its a big store. Music/Movies in the basement and comics along with fiction books on the top floor with the 2 middle levels for general books with every section you can think. Its a great store to browse and find a great book or CD/Vinyl/Movies. Something for everyone

My partner and I love the BMV, we find all sorts of books- both new finds and novels we're looking for -at great prices. This is a great rainy day activity and lovely place to catch your breath from the busy bustling of downtown. Definitely check out the 3rd floor, people tend to not notice it and miss out!
