We purchased drapes and California shutters from Alleen's and we could not be more pleased. We worked with Margarita who was absolutely wonderful. She came to our condo to oversee intallation of the shutters and responded quickly to any questions we had. This was not my first time using Alleen's and would recommend them highly.
The store has a wide variety of products and samples. Staff were knowledgeable but pushy and quick to make assumptions. The installer was professional and courteous. This one window cost us over $800 but we are very pleased with the finished product!
We walked into the Alleen showroom with a window-covering dilemma: we wanted privacy from our busy street without losing the natural light. Our house originally had shutters, but they gathered dust and didn't fit our modern aesthetic. We replaced them with roller blinds, but they forced us to choose between light and privacy.
The people at Alleen listened and presented a few good options. In the end, we settled on the Hunter Douglas pirouette shades with motorization. They got installed a week ago and we're thrilled with them.
