He checked everything for free, quickly found the cause, and even taught me how to troubleshoot similar problems in the future. He gave great advice and was very knowledgeable. I had a really great experience at Precision Auto after accidentally damaging my car. Simon was extremely helpful, professional, and transparent throughout the entire process. He explained everything clearly, kept me updated on the progress, and never once tried to upsell unnecessary services. The repair work was done quickly and to a very high standard—my car looks brand new again. I truly appreciated the honesty and care, which is hard to find in the auto repair industry. Amazing service! I have used Simon's services for my older car (Brakes). Simon took care of it and last week, I leased a NEW BMW-X3. I noticed 2 days later that I had scratch and was of course very upset. I went to see Simon this afternoon. He told me, somebody must have done it, as it was all paint. Took a special cream and cleaned, like new. He refused to charge me for the service! Nice man and great service!

Similar to what happened with the other recent poster where he was informed that his car was going to receive an inspection without asking for the price, I was not even told ahead of time that an inspection was going to occur on my car that was in for other work. This was about two weeks ago. It is not right when mechanics do things when not authorized in advance. After bringing my cars here several times before where I had good service, this was the last time. Simon, you broke my trust.

ASK THE PRICE FIRST! This was my first contact with TPAR, Thornhill Precision Auto Repair. I was shopping aroung for a good mechanic after my trusted mechanic Pat, ( our family was with him for over 30 years) from AutoGenics on Woodbine retired. My goal that day was to get my winter tires installed and an oil change. Also, I wanted to get a feel for Simon and TPAR.
With Pat fromAutogenics, he would always call me with an estimate and ask for my ok.
With Simon I was asked if I wanted a service maintenace inspection. Pat had always looked over my whole car in a similar manner BUT this was always done without a charge. This was MY MISTAKE in saying yes to Simon for the service maintenance inspection. Simon charged $ 175.50 for this inspection. i regret that I did not ask the cost, my bad!
However, my comment here is that Simon did not offer or mention the cost of this inspection.
For a first time client who was really only checking out TPAR, my feeling is that this was an oversight by Simon. For me, as a fixed income pensioner who will be 80 next April, this $175.50 charge was quite a surprise.
I will try Simon and TPAR one more time, BUT I will DEFINITELY ASK THE THE PRICE BEFORE I consent

Horrible communication, and zero accountability taken by Simon for his lack of comprehension. Disgusting treatment of a repeat customer. My advice is to avoid, as there are many places which can offer much better customer service Waugh a higher quality finished product.

I went here for a repair on my car. Simon clearly explained to me the parts that needed to be fixed and how much it’ll cost. The quote was lower than a lot of other shops. When I finally got my car after repairs, my bill was actually even lower than the quote, because Simon found out that the damage was less than what he initially anticipated during the quote process. The repair quality was also great. Id recommend this shop to anyone who appreciates honest and quality service.
