Stilettos and Sawdust is a great example of a creative local business with a personal touch. They offer in house work like maps, engraving, signs, and other custom pieces, which really sets them apart from typical retail shops. Kelsey, the owner, adds to the experience. Supporting a business where you know there is a real person behind the craftsmanship, that added personal touch
If you are looking for custom items or unique locally made pieces, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

A fun little store with lots of small home decor options, you can't get much more locally handmade than this! If you're looking for a gift for your snarky friends, I've never failed to have a chuckle at some of the creative verbiage adorning some of their products. This is one of those stores I'll keep popping in to see what new ideas they've come up with, and will likely give their DIY class a try next time I'm in the area.

I like the humorous nature of cards, posters and other displays. One leaves the store with a smile and a rare find for that empty space.
