I'm a stylish 52 year old professional female who was in Stratford for the theater festival and realized I was overdue for a haircut. I am also not a big fan of paying a huge amount for a haircut (I find that price rarely correlates to talent/skill, and $10 cuts can be as good as a $80 ones, if you find the right person). And, that said, I HATE gender discrimination in the pricing of haircuts. Jack, bless his soul, has ONE price for adults $18, and charges $16 for kids or elderly folks... $6 for beards. I'm from Chicago. He gave me a quick trim the results of which I am COMPLETELY happy with ... in and out in about 20 minutes.
Jack is not just a barber, he is a stylist as well (Properly trained) he can look at your head and know how to cut your hair. I was very impressed with the job he has done on me, I have been to him 5 times now and I won't be looking anywhere else. I was charged a reasonable price (MUCH less than local stylists) and had a great conversation as well. The only thing I could criticize is you can't just walk in and get a cut, he's always booked up, So make an appointment! he is worth the wait.
