GoodLife Fitness Stittsville Corners

This is a very welcoming gym. I always see staff cleaning, and the front desk team is consistently friendly. The staff also seem to genuinely enjoy working together, which is really nice to see. The only suggestion would be a larger or additional stretching area, as it can sometimes feel a bit tight.

The environment here is so welcoming! Roya Is so friendly and is always ready to answer any questions I have. Best gym ever

I had such a nice chat with Roya at the front desk. She’s new, but already so helpful and welcoming. I was feeling pretty nervous about going into the gym, and she really helped me build the confidence to start my workout ❤️

I have been attending this gym for a long time now and the staff have always been friendly and kind. I just wanted to give a shout out to Roya. She has gone above and beyond. Very happy the staff is so amazing! Good job team.

Hello, goodlife stittsville is very good to me. a youung man was playing music outloud and i told on him to the front desk. They made sure to make him turn off his music. Good boy at the front desk, big guy but good boy.

My go to spot to workout! Great size and space.

Edit: Was in today Feb 03 2026 about 9:30am. White males, Bigger sized dude (older guy maybe 50s, he sits near the computers in those lounge chairs after his workout) and 2 others were in the men's locker room and talking hateful speech against Asian group, more specifically Chinese people and China. Funny they talk about China 'stealing' stuff but ain't y'all the ones living on stolen land... There was this Asian guy on the other side of the locker room that also heard it and looked uncomfortable but he minded his business.

Anyways, i'm not sure how you can mitigate this.

I think its time to invest in more smith machines. Good lord.

Went to the Stittsville Goodlife to day as it had a morning hot yoga fusion which I really enjoyed. Wish there were more yin, fusion, Pilates etc hot/warm yoga classes per week though across Hazeldean and Stittsville only 27 total hot and warm yogas across a week, so hard to find times and places that work.

I joined the Carp Road location approx two months ago. The facility itself is clean and staff are courteous and pleasant. My issue .. and its really becoming annoying.. is the people sitting on the equipment texting.. etc. If they were choosing perhaps a music change thats one thing. Every time I go I miss the opportunity to workout on several machines. I try to make it obvious I would like to use it but they continue to sit there on their phones
Ive approached some individuals only to receive a response thats they “ aren't done yet”. I feel the staff needs to be monitoring this regularly. Its hard enough when it gets busy.. but its unacceptable for this to keep happening. We pay to use the gym .. not to make it a place you park yourself and catch up emails and texts.

The facility is not being properly maintained. Stains in the change rooms have remained uncleaned for nearly a year, and there are now worms in the drains. It’s disappointing to pay a membership fee for a gym that doesn't prioritize basic hygiene. I would not recommend this location until a deep clean is performed. Note: I've escalated this twice. To staff and to member experience. Nada. Update Jan 16th. Staff put up signs this week stating they were investigating and cleaning. Sign is gone today but the unclean walls, stains and worms are still around.
