I've been trusting Carol at Classics Hair Salon now for maybe the last 20 years. I still remember how awful it was going to one of those chain haircutting places and always getting some new stranger that never seemed to really care. Used to go to the House of Lords in Toronto which was kind of trippy but still not very personal. I've always been satisfied with the job Carol does and now that I want to keep my hair long, Carol was able to layer it and teach me how to maintain the curl.

I've been going to this salon for about 10 years now, and I can't rate it more highly. The service is always professional and reliable. I don't know about the previous reviewer's experience, but it is worth noting that Caroline *does* take walk-ins. I don't know another salon that provides this level of service!

I originally stopped by to give this place a try when I was in need of a regular barber. I wanted someone I can trust, who knows what I want and most important how I want my hair to look. Well that initial visit sold me. The lady who cut my hair was attentive, professional and cared about giving me the exact style of cut I wanted. I have been a loyal patron for the past 6 years. She's been trained the old world way by an Italian barber has 25+ years experience and she has a good eye for detail. It's more expensive than places like first choice, but I belief you get what you pay for. The shop itself is not pretentious but has a classic, clean, laid back kind of feel. You just can't beat old fashioned, personalized service.
