“Our home is over 65 years old, and our front porch is also from that era. Ten years ago, we had Jewel Stone installed over the concrete. Over that time, based on Toronto’s challenging weather and the thoughtless use of snow blowers on the steps, some of the Jewel Stone had cracked. We approached Mike Yazdani at Venetian Construction, a DuROCK authorized contractor to repair the resulting crumbling areas and to match the existing colour pattern on our veranda. We’re thrilled with the result, as Mike is a real perfectionist and willing to go the extra mile for his customers. After the repair, he also power washed and sealed the complete Jewel Stone area so well that it shines better than it did when first installed. In addition, he also repaired and sealed the wall of our backyard walkout. Bottom line, Mike brought the Jewel Stone in both areas back to pristine condition. “There are a lot of so called landscaping companies advertising their services on line. I hired a company thinking that landscaping meant taking care of the garden - weeding, planting etc - well silly me. All they did was cut the grass and edge. I asked them to weed the flower beds. I had to show them what a weed was! Plus they were unreliable. I was very disappointed. ?
