Stopped in while exploring downtown Sault Ste Marie, which we found to be a letdown. Guess we expected more of downtown since the visitor's center suggested checking it out. The restaurant was also a disappointment. Menu was limited with very few options for people with dietary restrictions. My wife had to eat her salad without any dressing. Meatloaf sandwich was ok, but due to the way the meatloaf was cut it could not be eaten as a sandwich as the meatloaf fell apart., and I had to ask for silverware. Waiter was a bit aloof which we found unusual for Ontario.

Amazing place, I love the vibe and decor.However the staff are very rigid and not easily accommodating to specific requests...but staff is very nice..courteous and politeFrench vanilla and cinnamon bun are a must try

After watching a film presented by Shadows of the Mind film festival, my friends and I decided to have lunch at Mane Street Salon. I ordered hot chocolate (watery) and a chicken fajita with cole slaw (2 tablespoons). When my order arrived it was a beef fajita. When the waitress finally came back to the table I asked why she hadn't told me they were out of chicken. Her reply was she had ordered chicken but I assured her it was beef. I would have ordered something else but that didn't matter. I had to pay full price for something I didn't want and didn't order. Very disappointed at how my order was handled.

I’ve been going to Michelle for years and she knows exact what I want. I’m so happy with my hair cut it’s exactly what I wanted.It was very nice to have the salon to myself and made the experience feel very pampering and special.

Maybe, just maybe. If you are rich, full and in need of nothing, this is the place for you. Don’t plan on eating or drinking here. Just occupy space and cast off anyone that would try to afford to sit here. FTP!
