“First time visiting Paul Chow for Japanese hair perming (curly). If you’re looking for the OG in perms, haircut and dye…Paul is your go to!I came back twice as he also did a fabulous job in dying my hair after the perm. There’s no damage after the perm and it held super well after a week and after the colouring. I wish I found him sooner as I’ve had many hit and misses with other hairdressers in the Lower Mainland. Paul is also very fair in his pricing as I’ve done extensive research before going to him.Paul has been a hair professional since 1989 and started in HK. He owned his salon before and now is working at Yusaf’s. Not to be confused, Russ Salon is Paul’s business entity, but he’s renting a chair at Yusuf’s. Look for the signage Yusuf outside and the fancy light decor inside the salon.Everyone is so friendly including the owner Yusef himself and the place is super clean, modern, and feels like you’re walking into a world class salon. The location is perfect, almost near Oakridge and free street parking outside. Highly recommended, no regrets here.“

Paige and Naomi did a wonderful job working with me during the trial and on the day itself to create a really natural, beautiful look that made me still feel like myself but elevated. We also had Emmylou do a wonderful job with the bridesmaids hair and makeup. All three of them were not only great at their jobs but also brought a really fun and positive vibe to the whole getting ready session. They also managed to get us all ready ahead is schedule making the morning very relaxed and smooth! Would definitely recommend to any brides to be!“

“Omg... The photos of hair say it all. Gerald is an absolute miracle worker. I'll never let anyone else touch my hair again. He turned my dark brown hair into hair that looks naturally blonde from living at the beach. My hair is naturally very fine and so thin I could never grow it past my shoulders or dye it blond, but with the products he uses and his techniques I finally have the hair I've always wanted. The price is definitely not cheap but it's worth every cent. ❤️❤️“
