This place is worth every penny. We tried taking our pup to the beach for the first time earlier this year but found he was incredibly apprehensive to the water. We thought this might be a good way to safely introduce him to swimming. The facilitators were so patient and encouraging, our puppy went from nervous in the first few minutes to confidently jumping in the pool over and over by the end of the session. They took the time to educate us on what to look out for to know whether our dog was struggling in the water. Plenty of toys available to get your dog motivated too. 10 out of 10 experience, will definitely return.

Pretty disappointed how they treated my puppy who never saw water before. They pulled her in and walked around with her terrified as she clung to them. Another time she was close to going in on her own and they scooped her up and forced her to swim out. Ladies. This is FLOODING and it is NOT how you get a dog comfortable with the water. It is how you make them so they NEVER will go in EVER. I'm just so angry because I paid hundreds for 2 sessions after I was reassured they have experience with nervous pups. THEY DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH NERVOUS PUPS. They never picked up a book on how to help them, not a Google search, not a tik tok. It's not rocket science ladies. Do better. Honestly I think I deserve a refund. I have work to do just trying to erase these bad experiences.

This team is absolutely fantastic. I have a senior pup named Nico, not only is he 12, but he has lived his life with cerebellar hypoplasia. Over the last year his mobility has declined, (part of his neuro condition and part of getting older,) so we were desperate to try something new to keep him active, beyond the traditional water treadmill therapy. Through positive word of mouth from friends, we tried Indoor Dog Pool. This team is so wonderful and the love they show to the dogs they work with is paramount. They truly took the time to understand our goals, and they take their time with him on the days he is stubborn and on the days he wants to swim without a break. The improvement that we've seen over the last few months is amazing! I cannot speak higher of this team and the absolute kindness they've shown to Nico and I! I also enjoy my visits to the Indoor Dog Pool, getting to chat with the girls, joke around, and watch my pup improve every visit, being able to see they work they do with him is such a big plus. I am forever thankful that a place like this exists! We love you!

They turned my senior pug around! I bring my pug and Frenchie there once a week and they LOVE IT and both have lost weight, gained confidence, and improved overall health (including mental!). It’s the best thing I’ve done for my dogs probably ever. Highly recommend. And very reasonably priced for the quality of service and overall experience.

They fit us in last minute and waived a bunch of fees for us as well! Krystal was in the water with our boy the whole time and he loved it! She was very patient with him. It was a great experience! Wish I'd known about it sooner I would have brought all my senior dogs here! I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know!!

Amazing place to help your dog recover from injury. All the staff here are amazing caring and helpful. We started coming because our dog injured her hip. The Hydrotherapy helped her regain her muscles and be able to walk and run again. We love all the staff here who are caring and passionate about helping dogs improve there quality of life.

At Way of Life Dog Training, we frequently recommend our local clients try the Indoor K9 Pool and Wellness Centre in Pickering, ON. Appointments are private and the space is well managed to avoid encounters with other pool users so it's an excellent venue for dogs with behaviour issues to get exercise and build confidence. After an initiation lesson or two with the staff, the dogs paddle on their own while their handlers stay on deck. Other services include hydrotherapy and massage for dogs recovering from injury or illness. You can purchase floating toys, towels and dog robes from the onsite store, and there's free parking outside. Our own dogs and several of our canine clients are pool regulars year round!

I highly recommend the Indoor Dog Pool! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. They make my dog (and me) feel comfortable, and are careful with her injury. They remember my concerns and goals from the intake and talk with me to help my dog. They always ask how my dog was after the last session and adjust the session to benefit her. The swimming, stretches, massages and floats are helping to heal my dog. A nice bonus is that swimming seems to be helping my dog get her confidence back!
