I was having a thermostat emergency during the coldest week of winter (-35). My thermostat needed to be replaced and since I had called a few HVAC companies and no one was available, I decided to post for help on FB and maybe some amateur handyman would help. I already had purchased the new thermostat.A gentleman named Sheldon responded to my posting and offered to come over right away (dinner time).He arrived at my home within 15 minutes.Sheldon had the thermostat replaced and the furnace tested within 15 minutes.I did not know Sheldon was with SAFFCO Heating, Electrical & Plumbing and he did not mention it. Had A/C unit installed by Saffco in 2018. 4 years later I find out (from KOOL-Temp) that refrigerant had leaked out. Kool-Temp installer called it shoddy workmanship. Repair will cost $1000. Do not employ Saffco. I found out the hard way!In the end they were willing to pressure test the A/C unit, repair leaks and top up the refrigerant free of charge.Service: Install AC
