This happened a few months ago, but I still feel the need to say it because of how upsetting it was.
I booked my appointment a full month in advance for an important event, and two days before, the manager called to reschedule me because they had taken other clients. She then told me to come the same day as my event, which was completely unreasonable.
I explained how important it was and ended up crying on the phone, trying to keep the appointment I had booked properly. No client should ever feel like they have to beg like that, especially for a mistake that wasn’t theirs.
What made it worse was the manager’s attitude: cold, dismissive, and with zero empathy. No apology, no accountability, nothing. She needs to fix her face. The only positive experience was with Lindsay, who was kind and professional.
I’m writing this because no one should be treated this way.

If you are looking for the highest level of service - try Westborough Spa and Hair Salon! I am not sure it is a walk-in place, but if you get an appointment - you will be satisfied for sure! Highly recommended to ask for Jessica M. for hair cut and Cony for lushes lift! Enjoy the new look!

I’ve been going there for my nails with Kenza, and she is truly amazing. She’s thoughtful, professional, and you can immediately tell she’s very experienced. She takes her time, pays attention to every detail, and always makes sure the final result is perfect. Honestly, it’s the best nail service I’ve had in Ottawa, and I’m always very satisfied with her work.
The only downside is the nail polish color selection. It can be a bit difficult to find trendy or more modern shades, as many of the colors feel more old-school. I would love to see a wider range of updated, on-trend options, hoping they’ll refresh the selection soon.
That said, Kenza’s work alone is absolutely worth going for. If you’re booking at Westboro Spa, I highly recommend her!

Kenza did an amazing job with my nails, exactly what I wanted. Also really appreciated that they send you home with the files they used so you can make any adjustments afterwards if you’re picky about nail shape like me.

I had an excellent experience with Lindsey. I really felt she communicated well when trying to decide the best plan for my hair. I feel like she was meticulous at every step of my appointment and the end result is amazing. The other staff were friendly and welcoming and I would be comfortable with anyone in that salon doing my hair. However, I think Lindsey is a stand out stylist and will most definitely be going back!

I’m always nervous and anxious walking into my wax appointments, but Esti always makes me feel so comfortable right away. She’s so warm, easy to talk to and is someone who genuinely cares about her clients. Her space is also super clean, cozy and welcoming. I always walk out feeling smooth and confident. I wouldn’t trust anyone else - highly recommend!!!
