About Sunnyside Barber Shop

Sunnyside Barber Shop is a great local barbershop and a traditional neighborhood part of the Old Ottawa South community for over 10 years. The staff is always friendly, courteous, caring, affable, and professional. They do not rush you, ask what sort of cut you want, and do a fine job delivering on expectations. They are great with kids and provide great service with very fair, reasonable pricing. Services include scissor cuts and hot shaves. Cash or credit is accepted. It is highly recommended.

One of the best salons I’ve been in , the staff were courteous and really friendly, I came in to fix one of my haircut disasters I had in another salon and I was amazed , they not only fixed it but were genuinely reluctant to take the full amount for the haircutIt is a great , nice and really friendly salon that really care

Sam runs a very professional and friendly barbershop. He and his staff always ask what sort of cut you want and do a fine job delivering on expectations. Prices are very fair. They are great with kids. Sam was also good enough to give my father-in-law, who has dementia, probably the best hot shave of his life. Highly recommended!

Can't be beat for students! Walked in with a 20 and walked out in 20 minutes with a beautiful haircut. Sam understood exactly what I needed, he really knows his stuff. Highly recommend for Carleton students, it's an easy walk/bike/bus. They've got a customer for life now.
