Pilates in Ottawa

“I joined Reform H&F at the end of October and have been tremendously impressed with the team, facility, and my progress/results over the past 2+ months. I'm a 59 yr old male who has never done Pilates or strength training before and really didn't know what to expect. Heather Pugh is a very clear expert in Pilates, who is tremendously supportive & helpful and has built herself an outstanding team of trainers all of whom have been absolutely fantastic. I've done the Mega and TRM2 classes with several different trainers as well as a few private sessions with Heather and Melissa when I first started out. All of the trainers do a superb job of explaining the positions and keeping the classes flowing smoothly from exercise to exercise.

After 2.5 months of classes I have noticed marked reductions in my shoulder pain and back aches and pains, improved balance, better flexibility and much better posture overall (a relative at Christmas remarked that I looked so much taller than the last time she saw me!). My core and upper body have also very clearly been strengthened - it is so much easier carrying in extra large bags of dog food from the car into the basement!! I look forward to continuing my training at REFORM and can't wait to see what impact my off-season Pilates training will have on my golf yardages and scores this coming summer! If you live in Ottawa and are interested in a fitness / strength training program I highly recommend checking out REFORM H&F!

btw Parking is super easy for classes at Reform - I usually park on Richmond Road (across from the Real Canadian Superstore / Bushtukah) and walk over (parking is free for 90 minutes on Richmond Road) or park in the underground parking lot and get 90 minutes of free parking with a $10 purchase at the Farm Boy grocery store right beside Reform.
