I contacted Mike for my solar project. After speaking to him for about 15 mins it was clear that I had found a reputable person with knowledge and ethics.
After doing my due diligence I found he had installed solar systems on various other of my brother firefighters houses with all of them saying he was a stand up guy.
Mike quoted me an absolute fair price, aided me in the Greener home energy loan.
He installed the system on time with his quirky but super meticulous electrician and two of the hardest working installer I've seen in a long time in the trades.

My panels were throwing an arc fault code(installed by a now defunct company) so I called Ottawa Solar Power and spoke with Mike. He was here with his electrician (also Mike) the very next day!!! Props!!! They helped me clear the arc fault through my app and got my system back up and running / producing power. They suggested that the system might throw the arc fault code again, but recommended that we wait it out to see if that happens, and if so, to contact them again and arrange for the whole system to be inspected in order to find the source of the arc fault code and rectify the issue once and for all. Mike and his crew helped us upgrade an off-grid solar system that operates from our Community Harvest Farm (a program of the Ottawa Food Bank). The experience working with Ottawa Solar Power was outstanding and completely exceeded our expectations. Mike is naturally helpful and understood our needs right away; it felt like a true partnership working with him.
