Max’s is simply the best shoe repair shop in Ottawa. Period. End of story.

Max is an amazing cobbler. I brought my 8-year-old trusty companion (Red Wing Iron Ranger 8111) to him because the original soles had deteriorated badly, so I wanted to replace them with something better. On Max's recommendation, I switched to VIBRAM soles. The new soles are significantly better in terms of slip resistance and comfort. I'm really looking forward to going to more places with my good companion!
Additionally, Max generously shared many maintenance tips with me. The wait time could be quite long. But I can say that all the waiting is worth it. Given today's prices, the cost of the repair is also very fair. Thanks to Max and... read full review
