I'm a tenant at 400 Montfort St, Place Montfort, Lindsay Landscaping/Snow removal is the contractor. Feb 26, 2026 10:30am, front loader snow removal fella knocked manhold cover, re-installed but not secure. It fell in the hole, which needs 2 people to pull up and re-install. It's now 2 weeks and the manhole is not re-installed. What takes so long?
Attention to detail! Seems that we are always quick to complain about things, and time is not always given to send a kudo.
I have had the pleasure to have had quick casual conversation while a crew was at the above address felling dead trees a while back and the crew were very pleasant. Today however, when I exited the building and there was a lot of debris flying and I realized the crew was back to grind stumps, I was immediately concerned that we hadn’t been advised to move our vehicles but then I was extremely impressed to see that they were protecting the nearby parked vehicles with large sheets of plywood.
