They are known for selling only the parts actually needed and for their dedication, even finding compatible parts for very old equipment to resurrect it. I bought my hot tub from Chinook in 1999. Naturally, I had to replace stuff over the years, and Chinook (especially Robert) was always there for me. But my tub ran 24 hrs a day, all year-long. I knew my luck would not last, and in Dec 2021 my motherboard died. The tub was too old to get a new one, so Chinook (Robert) drained the tub, and we decided to wait until Spring 2022 to see what might be done. Well, Robert eventually found a used motherboard this May 2022, that would be compatible with my tub. So just a week ago Chinook (Blake) installed the compatible motherboard, and my tub was resurrected; and is up and running again. Exceptional service. Thank you, Chinook.
Wow! Thia guy knows his stuff. Ive called him as a second advice for having already dealt with another tech for 4 service calls and chinook took time to troubleshoot over the phone with me and pointed out to some wiring issue. I will try tk diagnose the culprit myself with his advice. I might call him to come over but he was honest enough to tell me he might not be able tk fix my intermittent problem. Its complex one.
I purchased a sauna from Chinook a few months ago. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend Chinook to anyone else in the Ottawa-Gatineau area who is looking for a home sauna (I can't speak to the quality of their hot tubs or their hot tub service).Overall, I'd say Chinook's saunas are of high quality, and the service they offer is quite good. This is a family business and everyone there is kind and tries to ensure that their customers are satisfied. There were a few minor pre and post-sale hiccups with this purchase (all of which were dealt with to my satisfaction by Chinook) and don't affect how happy I am now about the purchase.
