I stopped by Bailey Nelson in the Rideau Centre (right across from the Apple store). It’s a cute little store and I was looking for sunglasses. I told the lady working there (Sarab) that I was looking for sunglasses and that I hadn’t bought sunglasses in years. I said that I would need quite a bit of help to find a pair of glasses and that I wanted her to give me her honest opinion. She laughed and replied, “don’t worry, I’ll tell you if they look bad”. She asked me a few questions about my style and lifestyle to help get to know me. I tried on a handful of glasses (with some suiting me and some not looking good on me); she was honest with me and told me which ones didn’t look good on me based on them not suiting me or not fitting my face. We found a few pairs that suited me and I found a pair that I loved. It was such a great experience because I didn’t feel pressured and she was patient while I tried to find a pair of glasses. It felt like shopping with a friend. Thank you Sarab! Also, due to COVID, the sunglasses that I tried on were placed in a box and not put back on the shelves (in case people are wondering).
