I am extremely pleased with the honest work done on my 2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk at Hourglass Auto.I mistakenly took my car to a Chrysler dealership in Scarborough who declared that my engine had seized. Subsequently, I was provided with a quote from the dealership for a new engine at $24,099.50 plus tax or a used engine at $11,871.83 plus tax.Dissatisfied with the provided options, I sought estimates from Hourglass Auto Repairs who provided a much more reasonable estimate of only $4,500 for a used engine. Upon further inspection, their mechanics Gary & Joel discovered that the engine was not seized; instead, the issue was a faulty pulley bearing on the A/C compressor.Hourglass Auto Repairs efficiently resolved the problem by sourcing a used compressor, charging me only $883.52 for labour, parts, and taxes.Wow! These are honest Mechanics and they are going to get all of future business. Thanks Guys!
Mike and his team were great. They were amazing at explaining the process and costs. They were punctual, kind, flexible and honest. He even reinstalled our shower doors better than they were on originally. Next time we need renovation's done we will be calling Mike again, highly recommended!
