Lowdown Automotive, owned by Carl, is a dependable and trustworthy business that offers high-quality automotive services. They have expertise in body work, painting, and polishing, as well as repair and maintenance. A customer's truck was transformed to look brand new after undergoing body work, painting, and polishing. In another instance, Carl promptly assisted a customer with a loose heat shield, refusing payment for his help. The shop is known for its honesty and impressive work, especially when a truck needed new brakes. Customers appreciate their fair pricing, honest service, and the way they treat clients like family. They also provide thorough inspections, often catching issues missed by main dealerships, and communicate clearly by sending photos for approval. Lowdown Automotive remains a top choice for anyone in need of a reliable mechanic.
Carl looked after my 2011 Chevy pickup truck that needed Body Work from many years of rust, He then painted many areas of my truck from one end to the other. As well, he did a lot of polishing and repaired many areas that had been scratched. My truck looks brand new. Bravo Carl & his team that did an amazing job.
I was driving to a friend’s cottage last weekend and I heard a strange noise coming from under my car. I pulled off the highway and it looked like a piece of metal was hanging down in the undercarriage. I called Low Down Automotive as they were close and Carl (owner) said all his hoists were occupied but he’d take a look for me. He was able to determine that it was the heat shield that was coming off and that I didn’t need it and he took care of it for me. He was very kind and hospitable and when I asked how much I owed him, he refused payment! He was wonderful! He allayed my fears, took care of the problem and chatted with me and refused to be paid. I was very worried on my own with a full load in my car.His kindness and expertise was so appreciated!
This is the only place I will bring my car. Carl is trustworthy and reliable and more than reasonable pricing. He truly does care. The customer service is exponential compared to other places I have gone. I have taken many vehicles here over a span of many years and LowDown has come through every time. He has even worked over a holiday to ensure I got my car back in time for work/school. 10/10 recommend.
