I had to go to the walk in clinic last Saturday for a medical issue. I saw Dr Porter. He was excellent! Great bedside manners; friendly, thorough, and informative. The wait time was minimal and although I did not get an immediate remedy for my concern I was very happy with his explanation and what further testing he sent me for.

In Orillia for vacation, needed to see a Dr. Googled walk in clinics near me, drove to this clinic where the receptionist was beyond rude, spoke to me like I was stupid, as this walk in clinic is only for their patients??? Is that the definition of a walk in clinic?? I tried to get clarification where else I might go, and she shrugged her shoulders and was of no help at all. I felt mocked as I walked away and her the staff laughing at my absurd request to see a Dr. Take yourself off of walk in clinic designation, because you do not understand the definition. So much for compassion and empathy from this group.

Friendly yes.. was able to help me no..I've been dealing with a lot of physical and mental health issues all my life, and today took alot of me to ask for help for the first time in almost ten years, they are not looking for any new patients.
