Colborne Street Pet Hospital has served many clients for years, including some for three decades. They have a reputation for excellent service and were open during the Covid-19 pandemic. Recently, however, a long-time customer reported a negative experience when trying to book an appointment. They were told the wait time was over three months and were given the names and contact information of other veterinary clinics in the area. The customer felt this response was rude and unprofessional. Despite this, other clients have praised the clinic for being helpful and accommodating, using them as a backup vet when their primary veterinarian is unavailable.
I truly love dealing with every person at this location.
They know who I am based on my pets names, they are so kind and gentle with my cats and as my cats age they have helped me have the tools and knowledge to prolong their lives. I feel that the diets changes, medication suggestions and every single appointment keep them here with me longer and thats really all an owner can hope for from a vet.
Dr. Olinyk and staff have taken care of our animals for the past ten years. They are incredible caregivers who truly love animals and provide excellent direction and advice on how to keep your pets healthy and happy. Very thorough and always follow-up with a phone call or appointment if necessary. The best veterinary clinic we have ever had.
We WERE customers of this clinic and of Jo-Anne's for 30 years. 8 pets. Excellent service. Never a complaint. Open during Covid. Great!However, I was never so disappointed as the day I called , this summer (2023), to make an appointment for our dogs to get some shots. I was told the wait was over 3 months, like I was an unknown client! I was then told in no uncertain words that there were multiple vet clinics in Orillia taking new clients and was in fact given the name, address and phone number for two of them without requesting any of it.
