I went in for a walk in service to get my toes and hands done, before starting my service, I asked them if they had time to do my nails and they said yes. 5 minutes into starting a lady walked in who is 15 minutes late for her appointment and they told me that they can finish the polish removal on my hands, but then I’ll have to wait about an hour for them to complete the remainder of the service for my hands and they couldn’t do my feet as they had to accommodate the lady who was late for her original appointment.
I told them it’s OK, I would just go somewhere else to get my hands and feet home but then they insisted that they will make time for me to be serviced without interruption so I proceeded with my appointment.
When I got time to paint my nails I asked them if they do cuticle work when doing nails and they said no it’s an extra $15 to do cuticle work…what kind of nail salon provides a nail services without cuticle work included as part of a service? what is the point of getting your nails done if your cuticles are gonna look jacked up? they told me if I wanted the cuticle work as well as the polish. I would have to wait another 40 minutes so she can finish another appointment and then finish the rest of my appointment. I did not have time to wait to be serviced, especially after being reassured that I would be attended too in a time timely manner. Long story short, I left the salon with an unfinished service and still paid $91. They offered for me to come back at a later time or another day, but that’s just an inconvenience, and unprofessional. They should’ve been honest from the start about time constraints that they had had instead of trying to make a buck. Insisted of paying for only part of the service seeing as only part of the work was done, but I did not want to cause a scene.
