My dining room and parts of the living room were badly worn and had to be replaced with 1 3/4" red oak, to carefully match the sanded parts. Bart is friendly, professional and his workmanship is outstanding. He meticulously did several sanding layers, courser and finer before using the edger. Quarter round was replaced after applying 3 coats of lacquer for durability. Then top quality BONA (Swedish) stain, chosen from a large sample of custom stains was applied. An experienced carpenter, Bart cut and installed red oak veneer on both stringers and installed 3 new risers between the stairs.... read full review

I recently needed flooring for my basement, and I’m so glad I went with California Hardwood Flooring. Marta was incredibly helpful from start to finish, knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely cared about finding the right product for our space. The quality of the flooring is excellent, and her customer service made the whole process easy and stress-free. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great floors and even better people!

We purchased both the engineered hardwood and the vinyl planks for the cottage at California Hardwood Flooring. Marta was very helpful and knowledgeable. She understood what we were looking for ( we wanted a distressed look) and she actually ordered for us 1 box of hardwood to see a larger surface than the samples from the store. We had some delays with the construction and they kept the order for us for over 2 months. Bart delivered both orders when were promised and we found delivery charges very reasonable, considering our cottage is over 5 hrs away. Overall a very good experience purchasing floors here, would highly recommend.
