I have been going to Palma for over 5 years now! My Stepdad, who referred me, has been a loyal customer of her fathers, who has sadly retired, for over 40 years! I have very thick hair, a mane that ends up taking hours and tons of product to highlight and maintain plus its long! I have been to so many different hairstylists, sat in many different chairs for hours on end and spent thousands of dollars to accomplish the colour and style that I want to achieve. After my first experience with Palma not only did I leave within a few short hours (something I had literally never experienced prior to meeting her) I was completely and utterly happy with the colour, style and most importantly the experience! Palma is such a talented and professional hairstylist, she is really a cut above the rest (no pun intended!). I haven’t looked back and have already referred my friends who are also very happy! If you are looking, look no further, you will not be disappointed!

Where do I start?! I started going to Palma about 20 years ago. From the moment I sat in her chair I gave her complete control and never questioned her judgement and have always always been so happy with the results.
Palma has always been more than a hair stylist- she is an artist who takes into consideration your face shape, your personality…. Does a consultation and gets to know what you want and makes suggestions. To say my visits with Palma are more than just getting my hair done would be an understatement. It is therapy for the body, mind and soul. She brings her strength which is magic with colour and scissors 100% of the time and her humour and warmth. I drive about two hours to go to her salon and have never thought about going anywhere else! Hair love indeed!!!

I've been seeing Palma now for over 20 years. She is a talent! Her colouring is always on point and her attention to detail is always so appreciated. Mostly, as soon as you walk into her salon, you can tell the passion that she has for what she does. Palma gets so excited and you can see the genuine happiness she has when people leave her salon feeling more confident. She has great skill with applying hair extensions and it's so great to leave her salon feeling better with thicker hair. It is a confidence booster. Never retire!

I'm not sure about Tara or any other negative review for Palma and The Hair Spot, but it couldn't be further from the truth! I've been cutting and colouring my hair with Palma for over 3 years now and she's always been professional, is on time, and is very accommodating when I have to re-schedule. Furthermore, she's a genius with scissors and suggested a hair colour that suit me better than what I was doing before I started going to her. My hairstyle is not an easy one and she suggested a couple of things to make the style look less edgy and more subtle. Finally, her prices are very reasonable given the crazy amount of money one can spend on a colour and cut these days! 5 stars all the way, all the time!
