The online booking system is not, in fact a booking system, but an inquiry system. It relies on someone to monitor the system in-office, and to send an email confirming the appointment (although they do also get a person’s phone number with the ‘booking’, and should use that, too).The challenge here is that positioning the inquiry system as a booking system misrepresents actual available time to both parties’ detriment, as I showed up, and they had no appointment for me.
