The Ophthalmologist, Mr. Hamid Dadvar is amazing, and having Mr. Reza as my optician is always a pleasure working with him. He is very honest about what works best for you, which is very important. I had a very disappointing experience with Hakim Optical, and I would not recommend them based on what I went through. I went in expecting professional service and properly made glasses, but instead I left with eyewear that actively made my vision worse.
From the beginning, the process felt rushed. My eye exam didn’t feel thorough, and I didn’t get much explanation about my prescription or options. I trusted that they knew what they were doing, but once I received my glasses, something immediately felt off. Objects were blurry, my eyes felt strained, and I started getting frequent headaches. I kept telling myself I just needed time to “adjust,” but after days turned into weeks, it became clear that something wasn’t right.
Instead of improving my vision, my eyesight felt noticeably worse while wearing the glasses. Reading became uncomfortable, and focusing on screens was harder than before. When I went back to the store to explain the issue, the response was dismissive. I was told that the glasses were made correctly and that the problem was likely just me needing more time to adapt. No real effort was made to recheck the prescription or seriously investigate the issue.
Eventually, I had my eyes tested elsewhere, and I was told that the prescription in my Hakim glasses was not suitable for me. Once I got a new pair from a different provider, the strain and headaches went away, which was incredibly frustrating because it confirmed that the Hakim glasses were the problem all along.
For something as important as eyesight, quality and accuracy matter. Poorly made glasses can seriously affect daily life, and that’s exactly what happened to me. Between the lack of care, questionable quality control, and unhelpful customer service, my experience with Hakim Optical was a letdown. I regret trusting them with my vision and wouldn’t go back.

Great service with a smile. I broke my frames and they were helpful and found me a replacement pair, switched out the lenses and charged me a very fair price. They now have a new customer for all my new glasses!

I got my prescription done here and the optomitrist is very unprofessional, he got my vision switched up between my eyes and I had to get lens of all my eyeglasses redone! Don't go there!

I had appointment at 1:30 pm on Saturday, I was on time. I waited for 10 more minutes, the doctor still was inside with other person. I had to leave because there was 1 more person was in the front of the line. Don't waste your time here.
