DriveTest - Toronto Metro East offers a convenient location for driving tests, with friendly staff and instructors who make customers feel at ease. The centre is often busy, with employees working to serve customers back-to-back. Despite the rush, the staff, including Tania, Dania, Kiso, and Chris, provide good customer service and communication. Customers have reported that their appointment times are respected, and they receive quick and efficient service. The examiners are described as incredibly helpful and amazing, making the process smooth for those who pass their G exams at this location.
My first visit was on May 15th 2026, after going to Service Ontario located by Warden and Eglinton inside Staples. It was regarding a MTO Medical report that must be completed by my due date, unfortunately, it was past due, of course I did not receive a reminder letter at all! At the bare minimum, reminder notice should be mailed out to my mailing address, I pay all fees required for my driver's license so you guys have funds to create a system where it sends out reminders for Medical reports for special class Ontario license. I get it, you guys need to cut down on operating costs. My fault for not setting a reminder using my smartphone and renewing the Medical in advance....read full review
I arrived at 9am on a Thursday and there were barely any people present. I was able to renew my licence and was treated with respect throughout. The staff member I had the pleasure of working with wasn't OVERLY kind but they conducted themselves professionally and were pleasant. I was in and out in around 10-15 mins while getting my business completed. I'm not sure about other days or hours but after the morning rush on a weekday is probably the best bet at saving time. I'd recommend this location to anyone.
Had a great experience at DriveTest. I went right when they opened at 7:00am and the place was basically empty, so everything was super fast and smooth. Staff were organized and the whole process didn’t take long at all. From what I’ve heard and seen, afternoons get way more busy and packed, so I’d definitely recommend going right at opening if you want to get in and out quickly.
