DriveTest - Toronto Metro East offers a convenient location for driving tests, with friendly staff and instructors who make customers feel at ease. The centre is often busy, with employees working to serve customers back-to-back. Despite the rush, the staff, including Tania, Dania, Kiso, and Chris, provide good customer service and communication. Customers have reported that their appointment times are respected, and they receive quick and efficient service. The examiners are described as incredibly helpful and amazing, making the process smooth for those who pass their G exams at this location.
This is my second review for this location, and I wanted to give a special thank you to Toya at the service desk for helping me issue my G2.
It had been exactly 8 months since I got my license at another DriveTest location, but due to an administrative error (as ServiceOntario explained), it was never uploaded into the system. I went to multiple ServiceOntario locations and no one was able to help me. Huge shoutout as well to Rose at a nearby location for giving me a solution.
Thankfully, I still had my passing slip/hard copy. Toya checked everything, confirmed my address, and was able to issue my temporary G2 right away.

I went there to do my written exam for class A, now for any commercial license you need to do you medical exam from any physician including your vision, blood and urine test, once you done your medical, your physician send the results to ministry of transportation and they review it and decide if you are fit for driving commercial vehicle or not. Once they satisfied ministry will send you a letter stating that you are fit for class A license and proceed with written exam. I took that letter along with all the other documents at the counter. There, I was asked again to perform eye test again which to me unnecessary, apparently I didnt meet the standard of my vision test...read full review
kinda annoyed, had to go get the physical copy of my birth certificate as a photo wasn't sufficient. needless to say I didn't enjoy paying for a taxi to go home and back. but once I had the physical copy it went pretty quick ten to twelve minutes tops good stuff.
