Sofia Zangolli was an amazing clinic manager and waxing instructor. She created a fair, supportive, and welcoming clinic environment and for waxing every student had the opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience. Her teaching during the waxing portion of the clinic, was patient, and easy to understand. She was always encouraging, knowledgeable, and willing to answer questions, which made me feel more confident in my skills. I had such an amazing experience throughout my medical aesthetics program, and I truly owe so much to the incredible instructors and supervisors who supported my class and I every step of the way. Sofia Zangolli was an exceptional clinic supervisor, she was always incredibly organized, especially when managing treatment bookings, clinic schedules, and classes. Her guidance during laser treatments and waxing clients was extremely helpful, and her knowledge and professionalism gave us so much confidence as students especially once I began working on clients. Sofia ensured that every student in my class had a fair schedule and assisted us whenever we needed her, no matter how busy the clinic got. Cristina was an amazing laser, chemical peel, and microdermabrasion instructor. She is extremely knowledgeable in every topic she teaches and always provided very thorough instruction, making sure each student felt supported and understood the material. I also want to recognize Triana, who gave me an amazing tour before I had even enrolled. Throughout the entire program, she continuously motivated and uplifted every student every single day. Her beautiful energy, kindness, and genuine care made such a positive impact on all of us. Lastly I wanted to point out Loredana on the management team, I truly don’t think I would have made it without her. Whenever anyone needed to talk to someone or was having a hard time they knew that they could speak to Loredana and they would leave her office laughing. She is such an incredible human being and I am so grateful to have learned from such dedicated, knowledgeable, and inspiring women.

I have had numerous services at CBC-Toronto, many facials, waxing, manicures & pedicures. The overall atmosphere has always been welcoming and caring, due in no small part with the leadership of Triana and her team. The students have all been attentive and courteous. The instructors, especially Sofia, were always present to guide the students if they needed, but were never over-bearing with the students. Overall, a good experience every time.

I took the facial course at Canadian Beauty College Toronto location. I had a great experience! Sofia the instructor was very knowledgeable, and kind. She makes you feel very comfortable while you are learning a new skill! I will be taking another course with her in the fall and I am looking forward!!

I received a microdermabrasion facial here by Sofia and it was fantastic! She was very attentive and friendly and my service was very relaxing. I would love to come back for more treatments!

I recently went in for a facial and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. There was no consultation before the service began, and the treatment started without any explanation of what products or procedures were being applied to my face. For a skincare treatment, I expected at minimum some communication about what was being used and what the steps of the facial would be.

I specifically asked the student performing the facial to do extractions, as I had paid extra for this service. However, during the treatment I only felt two or three very brief attempts. I have had many facials before, and it did not feel like a proper extraction treatment was performed. It felt more like my face was quickly touched and cleansed rather than the full extraction service that was advertised.

When I raised this concern afterwards, I was asked whether I had asked the student to explain the steps or what was being applied to my face. In my opinion, this is basic professional practice that should be done automatically, especially by a finishing student who should be trained to follow the proper procedure without the client having to request each step.

I remained polite and tried to address my concerns professionally, but I found the response from staff to be dismissive and the overall customer service could have been handled much better.

Amazing service! I took the skin care class and Sofia was my instructor she was the best. She was very patient with me as english is not my first language but she pulled through for every single class! I definitely recommend this beauty college to those who are interested!
