I came here to get bangs again for the first time since I was 7. I was super nervous and Phil was immediately so fun and so confident that I felt reassured he was going to do a great job! I showed him some inspo pics and I really appreciated that he was honest with me about what would and wouldn’t work with my hair instead of just blindly following what I want. All that’s to say I’m super thrilled with my hair and would recommend Phil and Chatters to anyone and would definitely return again!

I genuinely can’t say enough great things about Phil. He is so talented, knowledgeable and all around wonderful to be around the moment you get into his chair. He’s given my mom and I the best haircuts, I recommend going to him if you’re unsure of which hairstylist is for you!

Absolutely terrible experience. My relative went in for a simple haircut, and the stylist completely botched it — then had the nerve to laugh about it like it was some kind of joke. That’s not just unprofessional, it’s downright disrespectful. And top it all off, they charged them full price!!!! Pathetic....
If you don’t know how to cut hair properly, you shouldn’t be working in a salon. People spend their hard-earned money here expecting to leave looking better, not humiliated because someone can’t do their job.
This place clearly has no standards, no accountability, and no respect for its customers. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.

I don’t usually leave comments, but my visit to Chatters really made my day. The staff were so kind, helpful, and professional - even though it was busy, they still took the time to offer advice and made me feel welcome. What I appreciated most was how comfortable and accepted I felt. That means a lot these days. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Terrible experience. Booked a haircut for my daughter who has been considering bangs for a long time and finally decided she wanted to try it. When I booked I told them a trim and bangs and they said no problem and gave me a time. She was looking forward to having a new look for school and a special family event this weekend but Chatters staff booked her with an (inexperienced?) stylist who said she didn’t “love doing bangs” and that they were “not her thing” and “couldn’t do it”. I asked if another stylist could help so she checked and I overheard a male stylist say “yeah no- I’m going to Tim Hortons”. I left super frustrated with a disappointed kiddo despite having pre booked an appointment. Chatters staff were unbothered and unapologetic, saying whoever booked me “must not have known”. Terrible customer service.
I called every other salon nearby to try to save the day for my daughter (not easy at 6 pm on a Friday) and ended up driving across town to a salon who could take her.
Akouls on Commissioners came through - highly recommend them and their welcoming staff!
