Between 1995 and 2021 we were loyal to a different clinic in Kitchener and brought all of our previous 4 dogs there for medical care. For a variety of reasons, we did not want to do the same for our new puppy. Having read countless strong reviews of the Wilmot Veterinary Clinic and, noting that it was independently owned, we made the switch. We are so happy that we did!
Dr. Lofsky is THE vet at the Wilmot Veterinary Clinic. (At our old clinic we never knew which of several vets we would see.) He is a caring individual who is very well-educated in veterinary medicine. Understanding the challenges of raising a puppy, he was able to provide practical advice and followed up by sending us additional reading material. Even though this is not our first puppy, we learned a lot.
He sat down and talked with us. We didn't feel rushed or like 'just another client'. Honestly, we have never had such a positive experience at a vet appointment. The entire staff were welcoming and kind.
We are thankful that we found this clinic and look forward to our next appointment.
Fantastic place. Needed to switch clinics, they found the time to take us same day. My dog has anxiety and he’s a big boy. The Doc was amazing with him. Super impressed with the level of care provided for my pup. Very informative, helpful, caring and took the time to answer all my questions. Very happy so far! Thank you!!
We have enjoyed each and every time we take our dog Rio to the vet. They are all so compassionate and caring. Dr. Lofsky is amazing and explains everything to you, right down to what’s in the drug and why he’s giving it to your pet. Listens to you when you notice a strange behaviour with your pet after a certain medication and will again explain with certain type of ( in our case ) dog breed this could happen.
He is just an amazing vet !!!
