This place is wonderful, the hairstylists are friendly and knowledgeable. Melissa did a fantastic job explaining everything about my colour service and the cut is exactly how I wanted it. The salon is clean, inviting, and well maintained. The sink was a tad uncomfortable on my neck. Next time I'll request a towel be placed under my neck to alleviate the pressure. I would definitely go back!

I've been to many hair salons in my 46 years (and was even a home haircut guy at one point), but Pioneer Hair Works is my favourite, and Shelby is the best. I've only been a couple of times, but Shelby seems to know exactly what cut I want without me having to say much, and the conversation is always excellent. It's a big bonus that my preferred hair products (Redken for Men) are available.

Katlyn cut my hair for me and she's amazing! I donate my hair every few years and she's the only hair dresser who really listens to me when I say I want to cut it short.
She's honest and offers great suggestions to help you get the look you want, especially when it comes to a big change. I'm not even local anymore but I will always make the trip out to Kitchener for her.
