When I first reached out to Queen Street I was struggling to regain mobility after many back surgeries. I couldn’t bend over to tie my shoes and sitting through classes was really uncomfortable and painful. After meeting with my trainer for the first time I felt that he completely understood what my limitations were and I got the sense that he knew exactly how to best help me out. This was a rare experience for me as I had been to many physical therapists over the years who barely understood my complicated history of surgeries and didn’t take the time to understand it either. Queen street fitness makes you feel so incredibly welcome the second you open those front doors. The instructors are top notch and go above and beyond to check in, provide great tips on form, and laughter and humor to every class. This was my first time at a crossfit gym and I'm so glad I took the leap and signed up! Thanks to Storm and the whole QSF crew for nurturing such a fitness gem in the Kingston community.

Attentive, charismatic, genuine, authentic, and enthusiastic are all words I'd use to describe the coach/coaching approach used at QSF. Working with Callum the movements/weights used were appropriate for my training age and designed to push me. Consistent check-ins and adjustments were conducted as needed, both in and out of the gym! Would highly recommend them for both brand new lifters and advanced, both would learn loads!
